About Our School

Welcome to Meadowlark! Home of the All Stars! Our school is in the south feeder pattern. After the elementary school years, Meadowlark students attend Andover Central Middle School and Andover Central High School. Meadowlark Elementary is located on 159th Street between Central and 13th streets. Thanks to our patrons passing a school bond issue in 2017, we have been learning in our new building since August 2020!  It is a beautiful space with many opportunities for student collaboration! 

We have a student population of approximately 375 Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Our students are socially, emotionally and academically successful due to the dedication of our staff and our families!  We have 32 certified staff members comprised of classroom teachers, special education teachers, a speech pathologist, a reading specialist, an art teacher, a music teacher, a physical education teacher, a librarian, an extended learning teacher (ELP), an English language teacher (EL) and a nurse. Administrative assistants, custodians, paraprofessionals, instructional aides, food service staff and health office staff comprise our 22 classified staff members.  

Meadowlark is known for its rich relationships with students and families. We have a very supportive Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that provides outstanding financial resources to our students and staff while also organizing wonderful family events throughout the school year.
